Joseph C. Steiner, principal, is a CPA and a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP). He holds an MBA in Industrial Management and a BS in Industrial Technology. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and is Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). His “real world” business background includes 30 years of hands-on experience in a variety of operational leadership, financial management and consulting roles.

Mr. Steiner was associated with a former "Big 6" CPA firm as a manufacturing and financial systems consultant for five years, after which he joined an international electronics manufacturer, where he held positions as Plant Materials Manager and Assistant Division Controller. He was subsequently recruited by a major computer manufacturer, holding positions as Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Divisional Materials Manager. He has held senior management positions as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer in several companies. Mr. Steiner has owned and managed an operating company and has broad mergers and acquisitions experience. He has worked extensively in the secured lender workout and Chapter 11 bankruptcy arenas.

Mr. Steiner served as a logistics officer with the 4th Infantry Division in Viet Nam, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. He is a past president of the Hartford County Chapter of the American Production and Inventory Control Society, and chaired the committee that established the Maine Satellite Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
